Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using joomforge.com (the "Site") or downloading or purchasing any JoomForge product, including Joomla extensions (components, modules, and plugins) and paid Plans (collectively, the "Services") from JoomForge ("JoomForge," "we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, downloading a product, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.
1. About JoomForge
JoomForge is an independently operated digital products business that develops and provides Joomla extensions.
JoomForge is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Bangladesh. JoomForge is a trading name and is not currently incorporated as a separate legal entity. All JoomForge extensions are originally developed by JoomForge.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to make a purchase. By making a purchase, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Free Extensions and Paid Plans
- Free extensions are provided at no cost, without a Plan. They do not include a license key or priority support.
- JoomForge offers paid Plans ("Plans") for the Pro versions of its Joomla extensions.
- Plans are one-time purchases with a fixed access period (for example, 12 months) and do not automatically renew. When a Plan's access period ends, you may manually purchase a renewal or another applicable Plan to continue receiving the benefits associated with that Plan.
- Each Plan includes a site limit specifying the maximum number of websites on which the Pro product may be activated for updates and support.
- You are responsible for managing your registered websites and keeping your account information accurate.
- You may hold multiple Plans on the same JoomForge account where supported.
- The features, site limits, access period, and other benefits included with a Plan are those described on the relevant product or pricing page at the time of purchase.
4. Payments
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment processing, applicable sales tax and VAT, billing, and related transaction services.
- When you purchase a product through Paddle Checkout, your purchase transaction is made with Paddle as the Merchant of Record, while JoomForge provides the product, license key, updates, and support to you.
- Prices are shown in US dollars on our pricing page. Applicable taxes are calculated and displayed by Paddle during checkout based on the information and location you provide.
- You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date billing and contact information.
5. Refund Policy
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
- JoomForge offers a 15-day money-back guarantee: you can request a full refund for any reason within 15 days of purchase.
- To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] with the email address used for the purchase and your order reference.
- Approved refunds are processed through Paddle and are generally returned to the original payment method.
- Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
6. Software License and What Your Plan Includes
- JoomForge extensions are released under the GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPL). Your rights to use, modify, and redistribute the software code are governed by the GPL.
- A paid Plan gives you access to Pro downloads, a license key, product updates, and support for the number of websites stated in your Plan.
- License keys, account access, updates, and support are personal to you and may not be shared, resold, or used on more websites than your Plan allows.
- The JoomForge name, logo, website content, and documentation are not covered by the GPL and remain the property of JoomForge.
- JoomForge may suspend update and support access where there is evidence of license key misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
7. Updates and Support
- While your Plan is active, you may receive product updates released through the JoomForge update system for the products covered by that Plan.
- Where support is included with your Plan, you may access the JoomForge support system for the products covered by that Plan.
- Support is provided on a best-effort basis and covers installation, configuration guidance, product-related bugs, and other matters described in our Support Policy.
- Support does not include general Joomla core administration, hosting or server administration, third-party extension or template development, or custom development work.
- When a Plan expires, your installed extensions continue to work, but updates and support tied to that Plan end unless you renew or purchase another applicable Plan.
8. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your JoomForge account credentials and for activity carried out through your account.
- You must provide accurate and current registration and website information.
- You must not provide false website information or otherwise attempt to circumvent the site limits applicable to your Plan.
- If you believe that your account has been accessed without authorization, you should contact us promptly at [email protected].
9. Intellectual Property
JoomForge software code is licensed under the GPL as described in Section 6. JoomForge's name, logo, branding, website content, and documentation remain the property of JoomForge.
Any third-party open-source components included in a JoomForge product remain subject to their own licenses.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services and products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except where a warranty cannot legally be excluded or where a specific written warranty is expressly provided by JoomForge.
We do not guarantee that every product will operate without interruption or error in every hosting environment, Joomla configuration, or combination of third-party software.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JoomForge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, business opportunities, or other intangible losses arising from or related to the use of, or inability to use, the Services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JoomForge's total aggregate liability for claims arising from or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Plan or product giving rise to the claim during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate access to your account, license key, or applicable Services where reasonably necessary due to a material violation of these Terms, including license key misuse, fraudulent activity, attempts to circumvent site limits, or abusive conduct toward our support team.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before taking action, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect JoomForge, our customers, our systems, or third parties.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Stopping use of a Plan does not automatically qualify you for a refund outside the refund period described in our Refund Policy.
13. Paddle as Merchant of Record
Paddle is the Merchant of Record for purchases made through Paddle Checkout. Paddle's buyer terms, refund policies, and other transaction-related terms may also apply to your purchase.
You can review Paddle's current Buyer Terms here: Paddle Buyer Terms.
For matters relating specifically to payment processing, billing, chargebacks, or transaction services provided by Paddle, Paddle's terms and policies govern those aspects of the transaction.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, policies, legal requirements, or business operations.
When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date shown at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
