How Scheduled Updates Run
Change the times or intervals under System → Scheduled Tasks, or with Edit schedule on the Overview.

Change the times or intervals under System → Scheduled Tasks, or with Edit schedule on the Overview.
How a run works. A run works for a short time (20 seconds by default), saves its position, and continues the next time the task is started. A large batch of updates therefore never runs into PHP's time limit. Only one run works at a time.
